Founded on the Word

  1. God promised through His Son to build His church by calling out the nations of people to himself. Through this people would bring further blessings to the nations.  Jesus came to purchase this people through his death and resurrection. Christ is now seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for his people. As sovereign king over the organized church, he directs our growth and service through the Holy Spirit.
  2. God’s people gather in a local setting with the understanding that we are an expression of the universal church of Christ Jesus. We are to bear witness of Christ through worship, holiness of life reciprocal love, and evangelism.
  3. God’s people are to celebrate their shared life in Christ through corporate praise, adoration, and prayer
  4. Our God reveals himself to his people mainly through his word. It is the word of God that is preached, taught, and then applied to our mind and our heart through the Holy Spirit. The word is the primary source of equipping, growth, and guidance for God’s people.
  5. God’s people are called to love one another as Christ loved them, and by this love, show forth the realness of their profession and bear witness that Jesus is from the Father.
  6. God’s people are called to submit every aspect of their lives to the sovereignty of our God, not the organization of Covenant Family Worship Ministries.
  7. People will be trained to explain the reason of their hope in Christ, and to see themselves as the extension our great God while reaching the lost in our community.
  8. God’s people are to be the salt and the light of the world, not withdrawing from the surrounding culture, not to accommodate yourself to it, but creatively and energetically influence the world with the light and transforming power of God.

Our Mission

The covenant of marriage was and is still the first institution established in the earth by God, which makes marriage the foundation for our society.  The origin of marriage came directly from the mind of God, not man.  Therefore, since God designed marriage, we can conclude from his written word that the most distinct purpose for marriage is for a man and a woman to become “ONE FLESH”. Failing to understand the purpose of marriage will damage its vitality, thus weakening the strength of the foundation of our society.  However, when marriages are built upon the knowledge and application of the word of God, then the outcome will be fulfilled couples and families that, in turn, will establish a stronger society. 

The local church is in distress, and we at Covenant Family Worship Ministries believe that it has to do with the demonic attack of the enemy on the individual homes that make up the church.  Covenant Family Worship Ministries believes that the family is the foundation of our society and that it is the institution that God created to bring his seed into the world to be nurtured, trained, and loved.

In our world today, the family that God originally intended is being threatened. Covenant Family Worship Ministries will minister to the areas that tend to be plagued by demonic attack. We understand that this ministry is needed across our city, state, and country. However, we will focus on the marriages and families that make up this local ministry as well as those that profess Christ as Lord and Savior.

Covenant Family Worship Ministries believes that once God heals, reconciles, delivers, and unifies the Christian marriage and family, they in turn can be a more effective witness in reaching other families, thus fulfilling our vision of “Advancing the Kingdom of God One Marriage And One Family At A Time”.

Covenant Family Worship Ministries believes that individual differences in a family can work to make a family better. Each family has different gifts, and each member in a family has a variety of gifts as well. These differences should be respected and valued. God created particular gifts for his glory and for our fulfillment.

At Covenant Family Worship Ministries individual families will be able to explore the various relationship within the family unit so that they can learn more about their spouses, children, and themselves, thereby giving respect to each other the way that God intend respect to be displayed within the home.
